Life Illuminated: Through the Lens

Fall 2008 and Spring 2010 Loyalist Collegiate and Vocational Institute, Kingston Ontario I organized workshops to introduce students to photography through the eyes of a professional. My Grade 12 LCVI photography students participated in an unparalleled workshop “Life Illuminated: Through the Lens” with Canadian photographer, Richard Martin. I received funding from The Limestone Learning Foundation and the Ontario Arts Council for materials and facilitator fee in order to further the success of the workshop. Each month long workshop culminated in the show and sale of student work at a professional gallery, and the production of a hardcover art book, poster, art cards and DVD.
