Reading Photographs

In my element talking to students about "reading" photographs. I had the privilege of working with Lisa Phippen's Grade 5 class from Truedell PS at the Frontenac County Schools Museum. Thanks to Lisa, the students and Karla Tynski, coordinator for Beyond Classrooms Kingston, a KAM (Kingston Association of Museums, Galleries and Historic Sites) initiative. The students were fully engaged. An amazing opportunity for a class to experience what it was like to learn in a one room school house.
