Portrait Photography

I had the privilege (and challenge) of facilitating an online presentation on portrait photography to Patrick Large's Grade 7 class at Welborne Ave PS. What goes into taking a portrait? What do you want to capture? How do you use the elements and principles of design when composing a portrait? How might it differ or be the same as a painted portrait?
