Walking The Waaban Crossing

Celebrated my birthday with daughter Brianna, daughter-in-law Allison and grandchildren Bentley and Charlotte, at the opening of the pedestrian walkway on Kingston's 3rd crossing, The bridge connects the east side of Kingston with the central part of the city, spanning the Cataraqui River at John Counter Boulevard and Gore Road. Once the bridge officially opens in late 2022 it will be known as The Waaban Crossing. Waaban is an Ojibwe term meaning dawn or morning light.
